Oh my goodness! I am…. I don’t know just crazy happy I suppose. A friend of mine posted a giveaway event on her facebook that another author was doing to give away a kindle. I entered without even thinking I’d come close to winning and I woke up this morning to an email stating I had in fact won! Crazy!!
Zack Hamric author of Blank Slate and Crescent Rising was the one giving away the kindle, actually he has another drawing going that will be done on November 28th.

I Am Number Four by Pittacus Lore
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Yet another book that I couldn’t put down and am disheartened to see so many piss poor reviews on. It’s irritating to read a review and the main excuse for someone not liking someone is the lack of originality or the fact they find the book predictable. Let’s see you write a story that isn’t in some way found in another story somewhere in the past or present. Stories are written imitating life. Sure some are written with aliens or other mythical, fantastical creatures in mind but still its a story and meant to entertain.
I found the book to be a great adventure, I loved the main character and his guardian, and I absolutely loved learning about the planet they came from. The only complaint I have is that the book ended, I look forward to it continuing.
